Video: Ron Paul on Jay Leno’s ‘Tonight Show’

Ron Paul warns be careful because he might actually win:

It was actually a pretty interesting interview and it gave Ron Paul a chance to get his views (other than what he thinks of the war) out there. Ron had a good time and shared a few laughs with Jay Leno. If it wasn’t for his position on the war I think he would be a top tier candidate.

Official: Nickelodeon Hates America

ArmyWifeToddlerMom has the lowdown on a Nickelodeon “news show” (aka Al Jazeera for American children) that promotes the impeachment of President Bush and bashes America and our troops. Click the image to watch and read AWTM’s description below:

This Nickelodeon “news program”, is not a news program. It is a leftist primer on how to be a “left-wing radical REBEL”.

I am not a blind follower of our Government, and I also think that Government should be watched by it’s citizens. It is our civic duty.

However this program led by Ellerby, is anti-war, anti- GWOT, anti-military.

This “news program” is not about people changing the World around them.

Ms. Ellerby uses leftist propaganda buzz words like “taking on the establishment”.

She shows a group of “tweenagers” walking around in orange jumpsuits, hooded and yelling from a bullhorn. “We are not ok, with people being tortured by American soldiers!” “Are cooperation’s priority over human lives?”

There is also a call for the impeachment of the President in the second segment of the video, “democracy is at stake because of the President violating the Constitution”.

The fourth segment of video shows another tweenager, who has put together a video of wounded Iraqi children, with the song Jesus Loves Me playing over it. This teenager blames America, the military, for what is happening in Iraq. This young girl says “she finds, videos and facts on the Internet” to show what is REALLY happening in Iraq. I am guessing she is getting these images from Al Jazeera.

Video: Elizabeth Kucinich Talks About Her Tongue Ring

I found this question kind of an odd to ask:

O’DONNELL: I mean, I ask you that because I pointed out Dennis Kucinich has been in Congress a long time. He’s almost twice your age. He’s known kind of in Washington as a policy wonk. And you are obviously very beautiful. It seems to some people sort of an unusual match.

Translation: What’s a hot chick like you interested in an ugly midget like Dennis Kucinich?

And another weird exchange:

O’DONNELL: I have to ask you about two very interesting things. Because America has had a traditional of having traditional first ladies, if you will. You would be the youngest first lady ever if your husband were elected president. You have a tongue ring. What about that?

E. KUCINICH: What about that?

O’DONNELL: Well, it’s very unusual. I don’t know that there are many political spouses who have tongue rings.

E. KUCINICH: I’m 30 years old. I’ve had it for ten years. I don’t see it as being a problem. I do still wear pearls.

Rudy responds:

“Senator Biden’s comments were of particular interest. The good Senator is quite correct that there are many differences between Rudy and him. For starters, Rudy rarely reads prepared speeches and when he does he isn’t prone to ripping off the text from others. And, Senator Biden certainly falls in to the bucket of those on the stage tonight who have never had executive experience and have never run anything. Wait, I take that back, Senator Biden has never run anything but his mouth.

“Such a desperate attack from Senator Biden is to be expected considering I – Katie Levinson – have a better chance of becoming President than he does.”

Video: Protester Interrupts MSNBC Debate Coverage

Shouting “All U.S. troops out of Iraq now. No more blood for oil,” a protester got through the barricade surrounding the MSNBC set outside Drexel University, site of tonight’s Democratic debate.

The protester made it to the stage where Chris Matthews was conducting a post-debate Q&A with strategist Joe Trippi. The incident only lasted a few seconds. Matthews laughed it off by saying, “Well, I agreed with the sentiment at least.”

I think it’s quote hypocritical that Colmes calls Coulter the anti-semite after he has taken the anti-semitic side of arguments so many times over the years. Just recently he defended Ahmadinejad, who has said he wants to wipe Israel off the map.

After the audience laughs at him, Kucinich cites Jimmy Carter has seen an UFO too. Dennis, comparing yourself to the worst president in U.S. history doesn’t help your argument:

Video: Hillary Asked About National Archives Records, Obama Pounces

Tim Russert asked Hillary if she would release her national security records that her husband locked away until at least 2012. Hillary, of course spinned her answer and joked about how the National Archives has more important things to worry about and how it takes for them to get through things. However, Russert would have none of it and asked her again.

Obama took this as a chance to blast Hillary as being apart the same old, same old Washington crowd. He added that if a candidate was really interested in change they would be an “open, transparent, accountable” leader.

Edwards also chimed in and labeled Hillary as the lobbyist candidate who has taken the most money from contractors.

RUSSERT: But there was a letter written by President Clinton specifically asking that any communication between you and the President not be made available until 2012. Would you lift that ban?

CLINTON: Well, that’s not my decision to make [ed. note: if she were elected president, that would be her decision] and I don’t believe that any President or First Lady ever has, but certainly we’ll move as quickly as our circumstances and the processes of the National Archives permits.
