Video: Huckabee Asked Most Important Question of Election

December 21, 2007

You know there is something seriously wrong with our media when they ask a candidate for the highest office in the land about Britney Spears’ pregnant sister. Watch:

Conservative Belle:

I have absolutely no issue with the content of his response. It was actually about as perfect a response as he could have given. But, but, why on earth is anyone asking a presidential candidate about his reaction to pop culture teenagers? Fine. I’ll accept that it was a morality question waiting for a moral response from a candidate. But here is my question.

An Interview With Fred Thompson’s Wife, Jeri Thompson

December 21, 2007

Right Wing News has posted the transcript of an interview with Fred Thompson’s wife, Jeri. You can read it here.

Excerpt: Jeri on Hillary

John Hawkins: Now Hillary Clinton has been touting her “experience” as First Lady on the campaign trail, as if it’s an enormous asset that makes her particularly well qualified to be President. She’s even taking credit for some of the things her husband did as President. As a potential First Lady, what do you think of that?

Jeri Thompson: Well, I try not to pass judgment on a lot of this stuff because everyone has had different experiences. What I know is that the experiences Fred has had, from getting married at 17 and working in a factory, putting himself through college and then through law school, being a Federal prosecutor at 28, being minority council at 30, moving on to help Marie Ragghianti take down a corrupt Governor, playing himself in the movies, being a US Senator, and doing all the things he has done since then qualifies him to be President.

Marrying (him) doesn’t qualify me to be in any of those decision making processes with him. All that qualifies me for is to be his wife and that’s what I ought to do.

Video: Romney: When I Said I ‘Saw’ MLK Jr., I Meant Not With My Eyes

December 20, 2007

During his address on religion in Texas earlier this month, Romney said, “I saw my father march with Martin Luther King.” Well, apparently when he said “saw” he meant it figuratively, whatever that means. Watch his response:

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time David Gregory has tried dancing.

Exit question: Elaine or David?

UPDATE: David Gregory … or Barack Obama?

Anti-American Left-Wing Blogger Ridicules Gen. Petraeus

December 20, 2007

Nicole Belle, a noted hack and blogger at Crooks & Liars has a new post up attacking Gen. Petraeus and his work in Iraq. I know these people are filled with nothing but hate and vitriol for this country, but seriously how can she attack Bill O’Reilly for suggesting a man in uniform be selected for Time magazine’s “Man of the Year” award?

For Bill O’Reilly, Time Magazine’s choice of Vladimir Putin for Person of the Year is good news and bad news. The bad news is that Time didn’t select the person that Bill O’Reilly felt deserved it most: Gen. David Petraeus. The good news is that Pooty knocked runner up Al Gore out of first place. And we all know that choosing a Nobel Laureate/Oscar winner who has almost single-handedly propelled the concept of global climate change into world politics would have certainly resulted in subscription cancellations, unlike a yes man military officer who willingly injects himself into a partisan political debate and sacrifices needlessly hundreds of troops under his command.

They hate America and the men and women who risk their lives to protect it. How dare she call a man who has devoted his life to the military a “yes man” while she sits at home thinking of more ways to express her hatred for America. These people believe that global warming is more of a threat than Islamic fundamentalists bent on destroying the world and we’re the crazy ones. But don’t question her patriotism.
