Video: Did Barack Obama Really Plagiarize?

The following videos have been making the rounds and subsequently causing faux outrage. Here’s what Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick said in 2006 while he was campaigning for the job:

And here’s what Obama said this weekend:

Personally, I don’t think this is a big deal at all. Barack Obama and Deval Patrick have been borrowing each others’ words for a while now, it’s not as if one was purposefully stealing prose from each other without approval. The right should be focused more on another outburst from Billy Jeff than Obama’s ability to make something out of nothing.
